We have given the headcount to the caterer. We have recieved most of the RSVP's back, we upped the count a little bit to cover for people who didn't RSVP, and might end up coming, but the count is closed.
11/17/07 - Wow, has it really been that long since an update? Things have been rather hectic for the both of us lately, both with the wedding and life outside the wedding. So, get ready for a bunch of updates.
We are both looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding and reception. We haven't seen some guests for a few years, others even longer. We have been engaged, officially, for almost a year now - it's been a long time coming. We have known each other for almost nine years. We have been dating for a year and a half.
It took a loan but everything, but the officiator, has been paid for. So, no more stressing about paying for anything. And we will be meeting with the officiator on the wednesday before the wedding to pay and go over our ceremony.
Well, it's official, we are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We are both looking forward to spending five days on the island of Kauai. From what we hear it is a bit more of a laid back island than the others - which is exactly what we are looking for. If you must know we are staying at
The ResortQuest Kauai Beach at Makaiwa. Click on the resort name and it will open their web site. Hawaii in December . . . yeah we're not going to want to come back.
The wedding rehearsal is at 4:30 on Friday, November 30th. Afterwards there will be a Bride's dinner at a local restaurant and the 'Bachelor's Party' at the Best Man's house.
The Bridesmaids were given the freedom to choose their own color of dress for the ceremony. We wanted them to be in something they felt comfortable in. As it turns out they each chose a different color, we have one in green, one in purple and one in silver. So we thought it would be neat to have the accents of the Groomsmen match their counterpart Bridesmaid. The Bride is has an off white dress, so my accents will also be off white. The Groomsmen will be in black tuxes with white shirts with long ties and vests, the Groom will be in the black tux with a black shirt and off white long tie and vest. We are pretty excited about how things are going to look.
10/01/07 - It's been a while since updating. More invitations going out today.
09/13/07 - Okay, all the pages have been made and are up. Still need data for the contact page, but there are a bunch of FAQs up.
09/10/07 - The 'him' and 'her' information pages are up, information she wrote about him are on the second information page and information he about her is on the third information page.
08/22/07 - The 'Fun' page has been started and there is a link to the guestbook there.
08/21/07 - It's been a while, just put up the second set of announcemnt picutes.
08/10/07 - I have the Information page/button working now. And I also have A Love Before Time in Mandarin Chinese up on the Lyrics page to listen to.
08/07/07 - I have the Media page/button working now.
08/06/07 - I have the Lyrics and Blog pages/buttons working now.
08/05/07 - I didn't like button sizes, so those have been reworked. Still haven't gotten them working, maybe tomorrow, but don't hold your breath.
08/04/07 - We had our announcement pictures taken today, it was a lot of fun. The photographer was great. He kept commenting on how comfortable we seemed with each other. We both enjoyed it very much. I am picking up a CD with the images on it on Monday. As soon as I have a chance I will get them uploaded to the website.
08/03/07 - I got the buttons put up they are not working yet, but that should come soon. I also got the blog set up - and there is even a posting there that explains the name of the blog. We both hope you are well.
